Happy Sunday Elders Club International
Elders Club International Foundation has taken an initiative to
celebrate the first Sunday of every month as ‘Elders’ Happy Sunday’
for senior citizens, from morning to evening, with the co-operation and
the assistance of several local Senior Citizen Welfare Associations/
Federations, Aasara Centres, Retired Employees/Pensioners Welfare
Associations/Federations, Residential Welfare Associations/
Federations, Consumer Associations/Federations, voluntary
organizations, public and private organizations, Lion’s Clubs, Rotary
Clubs, Walkers’ Club, Vasavi Clubs, I.M.A and local institutions and
individuals.

The activities of Elders Happy Sunday held on the first Sunday of
every month:
♦ Health Camp (includes Medical checkups, lab tests, medical advice
and medicine)
♦ Fitness (Yoga, Exercise, meditation, laughing therapy, and dieting
tips)
♦ Games, sports, cultural, arts, experiences, jokes, moral stories,
Mimicry, Ventriloquism, Music, Dance, Mono action, Instrumental
music etc. inaugurations, exhibitions, and competitions
♦ Making elders
co-operation of government
♦ Training interested elders in the following and making eligible
persons among them as advisory members and making them to
advise the government:
1. Environmental protection
2. Pollution control
3. Good governance
4. Consumer protection
5. Anti-corruption
6. Social justice
7. Human rights
8. Public interest litigations
9. Social audit
10. Protection of acts such as Right To Information (RTI) act
11.Examination and implementation of several acts in their locality
and reporting them to media, and bring to the notice of
authorities and rulers
